Air Transportation
The closest airport to Sorrento is Naples International Airport / Capodichino (NAP), approximately 53 km from the Hilton Sorrento Palace. This is the recommended airport for most participants.
Participants may also fly to Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO). Rome is farther away, approximately 280 km from Sorrento, but it offers a wider range of international connections.
From Naples Airport to Sorrento
Direct Airport Bus (Curreri Viaggi)
The simplest public transport option from Naples Airport to Sorrento is the Curreri Viaggi bus service. Buses run directly from Naples Airport to Sorrento railway/bus station. The boarding point at Naples Airport is at the tourist bus parking area.
Travel time is approximately 1.5 hours, depending on traffic.

From Sorrento station, the Hilton Sorrento Palace can be reached by taxi in a few minutes or on foot in approximately 15–20 minutes.
Circumvesuviana Train (via Naples)
Participants may also travel via Naples city centre and then continue to Sorrento by train. The usual route is:
Naples Airport → Napoli Centrale / Napoli Garibaldi → Sorrento
From Naples Airport, take a taxi or the airport bus to Napoli Centrale. The Circumvesuviana/EAV trains to Sorrento depart from Napoli Garibaldi, located in the lower level of the same station complex.

Please note that trains to Sorrento can be crowded, especially during the summer season.
Private Transfer (Pre-booked)
Taxis are available outside the arrivals terminal at Naples Airport. Participants using a taxi should use only licensed white taxis and confirm the fare before departure.
Private transfers can also be arranged in advance. This is often the most convenient option for participants travelling with luggage or arriving late in the evening.

Car Rental
Car rental is available at Naples Airport. Driving from Naples Airport to Sorrento usually takes about one hour, but travel time can vary significantly depending on traffic.
Driving in and around Sorrento can be busy, and roads along the coast may be narrow. Participants planning to rent a car should also check parking availability in advance.

From Rome Fiumicino Airport to Sorrento
Participants arriving at Rome Fiumicino Airport can reach Sorrento by train via Rome and Naples.
The usual route is:
Rome Fiumicino Airport → Roma Termini → Napoli Centrale → Sorrento
From Fiumicino Airport, take the Leonardo Express or a regional train to Roma Termini. From Roma Termini, high-speed trains connect Rome with Napoli Centrale. At Napoli Centrale, continue to Sorrento using the Circumvesuviana/EAV line from Napoli Garibaldi.

Local Transportation in Sorrento
Sorrento is compact and much of the town centre can be reached on foot. Taxis are available at the railway station, near Piazza Tasso, and at other main points in town.
Local buses connect Sorrento with nearby areas on the Sorrento Peninsula.
