Initial Submission
Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished papers that have not been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another conference or journal.
Papers must be submitted electronically through the conference submission system (EDAS).
The title, author list, author order, affiliations, and abstract entered in EDAS must match those appearing in the submitted manuscript. All authors must be entered in EDAS by the submission deadline.
ISIT 2027 uses a single-anonymous peer-review process. Authors’ names and affiliations must appear in the initial submission. Papers will be evaluated based on technical correctness, originality, significance, clarity, and relevance to the ISIT community.
Important dates

Paper Formatting
All submissions must be prepared using the official IEEE conference template.
Authors are strongly encouraged to use the LaTeX template, although the Microsoft Word template is also accepted.
The following formatting requirements apply to both the initial submission and the final camera-ready version:
- maximum paper length: 5 pages, plus one optional sixth page containing references only. No additional supplementary pages or files may be submitted through EDAS;
- supplementary pages are not permitted;
- minimum font size: 10 pt;
- no page numbers, headers, or footers;
- minimum top and bottom margins: 0.5 inches;
- all fonts must be embedded in the PDF;
- author affiliations must include a complete institutional affiliation and an email address for correspondence.
Externally hosted supplementary material will not form part of the archival submission and may not necessarily be considered by the reviewers. The submitted paper must be self-contained.
Authors submitting papers for the Student Paper Award must remember to remove the sentence "THIS PAPER IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE STUDENT PAPER AWARD." from the abstract in the final camera-ready version, if present. For more details, please check the templates.
Camera-Ready Submission
Authors of accepted papers must submit the final camera-ready manuscript by the deadline indicated above. The camera-ready paper must:
- comply with all IEEE formatting requirements;
- be generated as an IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF using IEEE PDF eXpress;
- be uploaded through EDAS;
- be accompanied by the completed IEEE electronic Copyright Form.
Failure to comply with the IEEE formatting requirements or to complete any of the required submission steps may prevent the paper from being included in the conference proceedings.
Additional supplementary files cannot be uploaded to EDAS. Authors may, however, include a link to a preprint posted on arXiv or TechRxiv containing supplementary material.
The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-generated text, images and any artifact must be disclosed in the Acknowledgements section of the paper in accordance with IEEE publication policies.
Registration Requirements
Each accepted paper must be covered by one Full Registration.
A paper will be included in the conference proceedings and technical program only if:
- at least one author completes a Full Registration by the registration deadline;
- the registration is correctly associated with the paper through the conference submission system;
- one of the authors presents the paper during the conference.
During the camera-ready submission process, authors will be required to enter the registration number corresponding to their Full Registration. Camera-ready submission cannot be completed without a valid registration number.
One Full Registration may cover up to three accepted papers. Authors with more than three accepted papers must purchase an additional Full Registration.
No paper will be published without a completed Full Registration and payment.
Publication Policy
Submitted papers must present original work that has neither been published previously nor is under review elsewhere.
Accepted papers that are not presented at the conference will not be included in the IEEE Xplore proceedings.
IEEE Copyright
Each accepted paper must be accompanied by a completed IEEE Electronic Copyright Form, which must be submitted through EDAS before the camera-ready deadline.
No paper can be published without a completed copyright form.
